1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BattleBoard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BattleBoard is a browser-based tactical combat simulation game. The Service includes free and paid features, including token-based credits and subscription plans for accessing AI-generated content.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep it current. One account per person.

4. Tokens and Payments

Tokens are virtual credits used to access paid features. Token packs are one-time purchases and tokens do not expire. Subscriptions provide recurring or unlimited tokens as described on the billing page. All payments are processed through Stripe. Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not: (a) attempt to exploit, cheat, or manipulate the Service; (b) use automated scripts or bots; (c) resell tokens or account access; (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (e) attempt to reverse-engineer the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, code, and assets on BattleBoard are owned by us or our licensors. AI-generated scenarios and forces created through the Service may be used freely within the game but may not be redistributed commercially without permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused token balances are non-refundable upon termination for cause.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
